We`ve gone through probably 30 boxes (there`s still more to go thru, but theyre inside the house). We only had planned to clear out, clean, and organize. But Monday I decided I wanted wallpaper on the accent wall and then painted the cabinet trim black late last night.

Scored two great Facebook Marketplace finds for total of $25 - the black cabinet knobs and the fabulous, comfy chair.

The entire space turned out much prettier than we ever imagined possible!!

A friend said we should name our lounge. It has the best AC and it is high 90`s so we are definitely going to enjoy it. Got any suggestions?

We already celebrated a little bit Thursday. But now , we`re taking a week of R&R with friends in Galveston to celebrate even more!!! We hardly can believe we did this @oneroomchallenge "mini-project" which turned into a lot more than we had originally planned.

Today was such a challenging work day on the Garage Makeover for the @oneroomchallenge I just had to share something pretty. 💕

While David was at the dentist, I sweated bullets arranging the storage wall just how I wanted it. Which meant a lot of heavy lifting and moving things around by myself. It was 95° today! 🥵

We`re not quite done....still have a full day of work to finish tomorrow, but David and I celebrated in our new "lounge" tonight with Apertivo Time. We were giddy with excitement. See Stories for a sneak peek!

We`re so excited to have this new space!!! And it came in handy tonight, cause our home`s central air conditioning is not working as well after almost 20 years. 🥴 The AC in the garage was the perfect escape!! I have a feeling we`ll be spending a lot more time there.
