Brooklyn photographer studio with Verona Induction Range and hood

Updating Your Kitchen Range? Look No Further Than Italian-made Luxury Brand Verona Appliances!

Remodeling kitchens is hot right now.  Actually, you could say it’s on fire!  Not only are homeowners in rapid need of kitchen remodels, but some workplaces are too and interior designers are swamped with requests for new kitchen appliances.  Brooklyn-based product photographer and director, Cason Latimer, expanded his business into a much larger studio equipped with an on-site modern kitchen to better serve his growing clients. I recommended the Verona Designer Series ranges and hoods because of my personal and professional experience with the luxury brand’s superior quality and diverse options. So if you’re updating your kitchen appliances, look no further than Italian-made luxury brand Verona Appliances.

Affordable Luxury

A photographer’s studio is very fast-paced with sometimes multiple photoshoots going on at the same time.  With Cason’s new studio kitchen, he wanted a professional range and ventilation hood that would be a reliable workhorse for his clients’ important projects. Cason’s need for a professional-grade range without the price tag was essential for his business to attract top-notch clients.

In addition, Brooklyn’s Navy Pier, where Cason’s studio is located, had workplace building codes that did not allow an open flame on a gas range. With his studio build-out costing in the thousands, he needed a luxury professional induction range that had all the bells and whistles but was also affordable. Verona ranges fit the bill, as they are about half the price of other luxury ranges on the market.

Why Induction versus gas or electric?

Now, if you’re like me, some of you may or may not be familiar with induction cooking.  To be honest, it has taken me a little while to wrap my head around it. The top of the range looks very much like an electric range, but there are some distinctly different features. Subsequently, it definitely does not have the open flame of a gas range.

Induction is basically an electric range, but with some key differences:

  • It’s faster and is much easier to clean
  • The top of the range never gets hot enough to burn things on it, so it is much safer, especially if you have kids at home
  • With the knobs, it looks like a traditional electric range, giving you that same classic cooking experience.
  • Features the European convection oven with additional heating elements behind each one of the fans which give you better control of the oven.

Induction is fast, safe, clean, and very efficient because induction cooktops use copper coils. The copper coils create a magnetic current with the pot or pan. So instead of passing heat along from surface to cookware to food, induction cooktops go right to the source and directly heat the cookware.

Induction cooking has been a steadily-growing kitchen trend for years now, according to the National Kitchen + Bath Association. Why the popularity? Induction cooktops are masters of the quick change—gentle enough to melt butter and chocolate, but powerful enough to bring 48 ounces of water to a boil in under three minutes.

Although induction cooking technology is already popular in other countries, it was a hard sell until recently in the United States. However, falling prices and growing consumer awareness are helping ranges and cooktops with this superior cooking technology gain a foothold. – Tyler Wells Lynch and Cindy Bailen

Custom create your own Verona range

What’s fantastic about the luxury Verona ranges – whether your personal preference is induction, gas, or electric – is that homeowners and kitchen designers can completely customize their range.  While Cason was designing his studio kitchen, he looked at other professional ranges, but he chose the Verona Designer Series 36″ Induction Range and wall-mounted hood (above) for both its professional performance, superior craftsmanship, and affordability. The design of his kitchen, a very modern, clean look, necessitated a range that seamlessly fit in with his new countertop, cabinetry, and classic white backsplash, plus his wallet.

The Designer Series Induction 36” range, offers kitchen designers numerous options with professional performance and stylish design. Consumers can create their ideal range, handcrafted in Italy, with up to six trending colors, three knob designs, and four fuel options.

In addition, a very handy customization tool, the Designer Range Builder, is available right on the Verona website to assist you in your selection.

The Verona ranges are part of the kitchen suite. I’ll be diving into much more detail later this spring on Verona’s kitchen suite when we purchase a refrigerator, the final Verona appliance for our newly remodeled kitchen. See the Verona gas range and dishwasher I selected for our little bungalow HERE.

With Verona’s many color options, Cason chose a stainless steel finish for his Designer Series Induction 36” range, as it offers that clean fresh look, an excellent choice for any modern kitchen. Plus, to be honest, his new range and hood had to look stunning to impress his new clients, and Verona ranges are gorgeous!
