After a whirlwind summer vacation, it was past time to address our poorly functioning kitchen appliances. We had remodeled our kitchen during the spring 2020 One Room Challenge. A better burner design – closer to the grate

Even though I’m not the chef in our family (Chef David is the master!), I am the decorator and can say that the design and quality exemplified by the Verona range are absolutely top-notch. The gas burners are powerful and efficient. Overall, it’s a gorgeous range that has already enhanced our kitchen and taken it to a whole new level.

One thing I love about the Verona range is the large oversized grates. They are rock solid sturdy and the top of the range is super easy to clean. No more having to take off 6 grates on our old burner. Now we only have two. Although that might be a minor detail to you, that in itself is simple efficiency to me.

I cannot even begin to tell you what a difference the Verona burners, mounted closer to the cooking surface, have made already to our cooking experience. We used to have to wait about 20 minutes for a pot of water to boil. Because Verona burners are far more efficient and provide better heat transfer and more even distribution, a single pot of water boils in a matter of minutes.

When your husband is the chef of the family

As you’ve probably gathered by now, there’s no escaping it….I do not cook. My husband, David, is the chef and has a passion for cooking Italian cuisine. He’s like a painter when he shops at the local market for the freshest ingredients and then whips together, like an artist, his masterpiece, the perfect Italian meal.

I’ve always dreamed of a professional, more luxurious kitchen range to match the cooking savvy of my husband. A high-quality gas range is hard to come by and David needed an extremely capable and fuel-efficient gas cooking appliance. • 2″ Extended Backguard – This stainless steel trim helps achieve a full 25″ depth flush to the back. wall on Presige and N Series Ranges. (This is important if you have an existing gas connection that sticks out 2″ from the wall.)
• EZ Glide Rack – Haven’t installed these yet, but the Easy Glide Rolling Rack Systems are perfect acessories for Verona ranges and ovens.
• Small Pot Reducer -This is a heavy-duty cast iron support for the large cooktop grates.
• Wok Ring – This is a great cast iron support for optimal cooking with a rounded-bottom wok.
• Cast Iron Grill/Griddle – The Chef’s Pak comes with a griddle, but we wanted the heavy-duty one.
• Simmer Plate – This heavy-duty cast iron plate is ideal to simmer sauces in a pan as it shields the pan from the powerful burners.
• Maple Cutting Board – This beautiful cutting board branded with Verona is also available in the Chef’s Pak.

It is also quiet as a whisper and our dishes come out crystal clear.
