I never dreamed I`d participate in my 5th @oneroomchallenge (ORC) 😳

But when ORC announced they wanted to include "mini projects", I not only jumped on board, but even got David to agree to do it with me.🤗
.
The backstory is we got rid of our 2 storage units 7 years ago. But when you do that, the stuff ends up somewhere else. Yes, we had a huge sale, but the rest has resided in David`s office in the garage all that time.
.
For 7 years we`ve said, we have to organize the garage. It has never happened. Plus we`ve traveled to Italy and Maine these last 3 summers, so there really hasnt been the time or energy.
.
But we`ve committed ourselves this year to downsize our home of 40 years. Add an 8 week deadline thanks to the @oneroomchallenge, and it was too good of an opportunity to finally get it done. We`re not going to Italy this year, so it`s perfect timing.
.
As you can see, it`s absolute chaos! No wonder David grades papers at the kitchen table. Who could think in that mess!?!?
.
My inspiration is a Mid-century lamp, shag rug, and large 1970`s credenza, in the last 3 photos.
