Hello WEEK 7 of the @oneroomchallenge 🤗

Again, we`ve been tackling 1-2 areas at a time. Otherwise, it`s too overwhelming and exhausting. We finally hit the wall this week!! So taking a few days of to rest.
.
Boy, did we accomplish a lot!!
.
We had that one floor section to do, leaving only the corner cabinets and counterspace to finish up this weekend. We also tackled the top book shelf along the wall (which was filled with rat feces. Dont worry, we wear gloves + masks).
.
Then the rafters. David kept asking, "Now why cant we leave things in the rafters? Cant we put just a few books on that shelf?" I reminded him that our goal is to clear space and get rid of things so we can use the garage as an office, lounge, and studio.
.
As you can see, the rafters are totally cleared out, even suitcases. Then, I went through my Mom`s vintage sewing table (see how the top lifts and holds spools of vintage thread?) and organized both drawers with items I use for sewing. The round silver sewing kit I`m lifting in photo was my mothers.
.
Only one week left!! Yikes!! But we WILL be ready and we can`t wait to show you our reclaimed and super organized garage!!!
