16 Mar Deborah Main Congratulates Writer at SXSW

This is a test from my phone to see if I can write a blog post and post it right away. Cause I want to be able to do little posts from NYC for y’all next week. But first, here is my hubbie David Latimer, dear friend Lynn Medlin and I at the #SXSW book signing afterparty for our longtime friend James Big Boy Medlin (Lynns husband). Michael Ventura published Big Boy’s first book Slap Noir which is totally cool; David’s holding a copy. Can’t wait to read it!! Congratulations Big!!!

Below is the author himself, James Medlin, (aka Big Boy…..Don’t ask me how he got that name. I just know he’s a legend from UT “College House”  days and The Sun newspaper back in the ’60’s), here with Austin singer/songwriter icon, Joe Ely, and my sweet husband, David Latimer. Three great men making history in their own unique ways!
