Texture Tuesday – Pop Art

Pop art is bright, loud and all the rage this season. Roy Lichtenstein and Andy Warhol have made pop art famous many years ago, but now we see their designs all over the fashion and interior design world. People who are not familiar with pop art have seen its influence in one way or another; through fashion trends, products, current pop stars like Lady Gaga and of course advertising. Expressive visuals, vivid colors with popular graphics are the foundation for Pop Art and can be seen plastered around town on just about anything. When wearing Pop Art, be sure not to overdo it! Keep the rest of your outfit simple and neutral. Too many statement pieces will outshine your pop art item. So channel your inner Edie Sedgwick this week and make sure you add some POP to your lifestyle! XO PG
