Texture Tuesday: Precious Pastels

With Spring in full swing and Easter this weekend, it is the perfect time to pull out those spring dresses and pastel color palettes. The hottest fashion designers are featuring hot colors such as mint green, blush and lilac in their spring collections. These feminine, soft colors are no longer just for dying Easter eggs and will add a splash of color without being overwhelming. If you’re looking to spruce up your home and prepare for spring but don’t exactly have a green thumb, floral printed pillows are a great way to invite petals into your home.

Vintage Pink & Cream Floral Silk

This pair of one-of-a-kind vintage pink and cream floral silk pillows made from a 1950’s cocktail dress can add the “Perfect Pastel Punch” to your home anytime.  Take a swig…with only one pair of these beauties available, order here.  But if you don’t feel like decorating your home right now, we understand…because we’re really enjoying lazing on our patio right now too.  But if you’re going to be outside, be sure to do it in style with Austin (and Macys!!) designer Ross Bennett!

Ross’s fabulous shorts, as featured on Fashion Star, are available for purchase on the Macy’s web site here. They come in three different fabrics: pink, floral and green gingham.  The green ones just arrived at our home today!! Fabulous and THE perfect fit (on my daughter of course!!).  XOPG
