I was commissioned by lead interior designer Kelle Contine of Austin design firm PPDS to create 15 pieces for a master suite, guest suite, study, and media room for an award-winning home at the Parade of Homes. What’s unique about this specific project was that the designer brought me on from the very beginning of the design process.
Contine wanted my artwork and the textiles to be the focal point of each room before she chose any other art or accessories. She selected a combination of colorful textiles and styles of my work – from ultra modern pieces to traditional and vintage. The result: four very striking rooms, all with an individual look and feel. I am honored my work was an integral part of Contine’s award-winning interior design. Photography by Gregg Cestaro.
