In May 2020, I took on the challenge of a complete Kitchen Makeover as a Guest Participant for the National One Room Challenge (ORC). Sponsored again by Better Homes & Gardens, this year’s ORC was postponed one month, extended to 8 weeks, with an additional 12 days, in order to help designers during an unprecedented time of a Global Pandemic and social justice movement. Thankful for the extra time, I luckily finished the kitchen by the deadline of July 5th.
Transforming a dark 1990’s kitchen in 8 weeks to a bright white and fresh kitchen was no small feat. My goal for this kitchen was to partner up with top brands for each design element and to do my own professional photography. This kitchen could not have been possible if not for the generous sponsorship of incredible products by my partners and technical assistance by interior designer Patrick Landrum, thank you!
