16 Jun Texture Tuesday – The Light from within Shines Bright with Littman Brands
With the Total Home & Gift Market in Dallas rapidly approaching on June 24 – 30th, this week’s #TextureTuesday features some AMAZING lighting, at the Littman Brands Showroom I visited at Dallas Market Center, that just blew me away!
I had the luxurious opportunity earlier this year during the January 2015 Sneak Peek to get a private tour, by David Schlocker with DRS & Associates, of the many beautiful brands of lighting that Littman Brands features.
Here I am below, with David, with antler-like branches of gorgeous lighting coming right out of my head! Like the chandelier in the first image, and these behind us, are from the Enchanted Collection, by Corbett Lighting and made of forged iron and ice-like droplets. Incredible in person!!
Littman Brands “Family of Lighting” features designs from six elite lighting companies:
- Troy Lighting
- Corbett Lighting
- Hudson Valley Lighting
- Creative Systems Lighting
- Littman Brand Contract, and
- Troy Landscape Lighting
Now that’s a lot of incredible lighting companies for you! And I was captivated by all the variety of lighting I saw. You can read one of my posts featuring some of the industrial lighting earlier this year from that same showroom HERE.
Please take time to peruse their websites to see the wide array of gorgeous lighting that each of the different companies bring to the Littman Brands and the ones below that captured my attention.
I think the most remarkable feature of much of the large textural chandeliers I so enjoyed at Littman Brands, was the fact that they glow from within and create unique shadows that play against the wall.
Thank you David for taking the time to give a short tour of the showroom. If you are considering new lighting for your home this spring, please take a look at the Littman Brands of award-winning designs, as they have stunning selections from which to choose!
Next week you’ll get a sneak peek of a few new pillows by Deborah Main Designs that I’ll be showcasing in Dallas at the Doris Sanders Showroom (WTC-531) for the trade. If you’re a retailer or interior designer, please stop by! Till then, stay safe and dry in central Texas, as Tropical Storm Bill sprinkles us with even more rain. XO PG
Littman Brands Lighting Below:
First up is ROCKSTAR! With a 1970’s vibe and natural Brazilian Agate slices, you can see where it get’s it’s rock star status from. GORGEOUS in person! It seems I’ve selected almost all pendants and chandeliers from Corbett Lighting and Troy Lighting. Be sure to check out the fabulous videos they have on their website for all of the featured lighting below.
Above and below are examples of Shelter Pendant by Troy Lighting. From a distance it looks like basket-weaving, but it is hand-worked wrought iron with a revolution bronze finish. Quite remarkable in it’s texture!
I love the tailored look below of The Harlow, also by Corbett Lighting. Most of the new designs are LED now and this center is made of crystal. Here’s the link if you’d like to read more about this beautiful chandelier.
LOVE the name of the one below…it’s just perfect for it’s shape! The Houdini!
Below are three photos of one of my favorites for its artistry, The Lily Collection by Corbett Lighting. I was absolutely struck by how stunning the handmade white porcelain flowers appeared illuminated from within by it’s candelabra base. And look at the shadows it casts against the wall. Simply magnificent works of art!
Above is a Lily wall sconce and below is the Lily six-light pendant.
This last one, to tantalize your textural senses, is the massive and elegant The Vivaldi, made from cast iron and Venetian Leaf Italian Glass Drops. Spectacular, no? I thought so and featured the droplets in my “Winter White” Texture Tuesday HERE.. Be sure to check out the detail of this magnificent chandelier by Corbett Lighting in the link HERE.
And be sure to read up on lighting in the Residential Lighting Magazine which features all the latest lighting trends and more!
