Boy, we’re having fun now!! We’re starting to make our own little home videos to share with you, our readers, the juicy details about our studio.  (See UnZipped video clip below). Just because we’ve been in business since 2004, doesn’t mean everyone knows exactly what Deborah Main Designs does!  And now with social media completely changing the world we live in, and the Pillow Goddess blog coming up on its 2nd anniversary, well it gives us a plump opportunity to share with you what we do down here in our “Little Shop of Horrors” (Just kidding!) Let’s call Deborah Main Designs studio in Austin, Texas the “Little Shop of Luxury” instead!!  A much more accurate statement don’t you think?

We did our first live video in Atlanta this summer which was great fun!  You can see that here on our Deborah Main Designs Fan Page. (Oh, and if you’re not a fan yet, we’d really love you to be…you know, like Sally Field at the Oscars!) The video is ridiculously dramatic, but so fun to make on the spot, with the one and only Elizabeth Traub, our Sales & Marketing Director, as narrator.  You’re definitely “on stage” at this huge International Gift & Home Furnishings market, so it fit right in to play it up. And play it up I did!!!  Since when do jewels drip?!?!  I think at that very moment in the video I must have been channeling former Austin Chronicle style avatar, Stephen Moser!!  As he says in his “After A Fashion” column on June 27th: [Deborah Main] “….pillows drip with unabashed luxury.”

But we’re really here today to tell you more about our new UnZipped pillow collection that we debuted in Atlanta.  We did a mini-debut in Austin about a year ago at Aviary Decor & Lounge, but product development takes awhile so we needed to test it out in the international arena too.   We were thrilled the buyers absolutely LOVED the sassy concept as much as we do!!

Now onto our UnZipped Collection video below.  Pretty informal, and I love the part where the zipper gets stuck (Ha!
