20 Jun Simplify Your Life and Make Your Living Brighter with CWI Lighting!

I’ve discovered a new lighting company! Well, actually, it’s not new, but it feels like it when I talk to the new National Sales Manager, Maher Shaheen.  He is bursting with excitement about their new designs and future plans. CWI Lighting (formerly known as Crystal World) has been transforming their image, but most importantly their products and customer service. It needed a face lift. So at the start of 2018, not only did the company re-brand, but it consolidated 6 catalogs into one gorgeous hardcover catalog.

As Maher Shaheen, CWI Lighting’s new National Sales Manager states –

Since I joined CWI Lighting, we’re focusing on partnering with the best reps in the industry to help bring the company front and center. We’re also listening more and taking direction from our reps and customers of what they products they would like to see. More attuned to the needs of our customers, our vision is to bring a top-quality lighting brand, with new designs, to stores and end users. 

If any of these beauties are an example of what’s to come, I can’t wait! Above is a dazzling multi-ring lighting chandelier that is a new piece from their Celina collection. “With its many levels of depth and design, the LED fixture shines with more than the lighting. Complete with integrated, 4000 Kelvin LED chips, the crystals on this fixture let out a superior shine”.

And boy, is it ever captivating!  As a woman, you know the expression, ‘diamonds are a girls best friend’, well, with this stunning chandelier I can’t help but think of diamond rings everywhere! I can’t wait to see it in person during the Dallas Market LIGHTOVATION show this week, Wed, June 20 – Saturday, June 23rd. The pieces in this post are all brand new, not yet on their website. All will be featured at LIGHTOVATION in CWI Lighting’s two showrooms in the Trademart – 3351 and 3353.

Above, is a whole new look to LED ring lighting with this 42-inch fixture from their Rosalina collection. A Wood Grain Brown exterior with a stunning and sparkling interior combine the looks of rustic and elegance in one spectacular piece.

Founded in 1996 and family operated, Kanaan Chasib and his two sons Ali and Noor Hameed, work hard to manufacture their own products with in-house designers at their China-based factory. Hameed states:

“For inspiration, we attend the Light + Build show in Frankfurt and the Euroluce show in Milan, so we’re on the cutting edge of design in our functionality and styles. Plus, because we manufacture our own products, we control quality and price points. We pass our savings to our distributors, and then to our consumers.”

CWI Lighting is following a new tradition with new innovative products. At the start of 2018, four important factors have contributed to their success with a great response from customers:

• Re-branded from a heavily crystal-focused product to new product designs and  new name,
• Reduced freight Free Freight Allowed (FFA) from a minimum of $1,500 to $100 for most products,
• Working on new, revamped website, and
• Hired a National Sale Manager to expand and grow business in the U..S.

A big part of their vision for the future is to expand. As Shasheen states:

“Dallas Market Center is essential for growth for any lighting manufacturer. They are the hub of all lighting in the United States. With such a huge audience at their LIGHTOVATION markets, we would like to partner with them to open a larger showroom in the very near future.”

This 30-Inch rounded fixture (below) is from their Savannah Collection. It is literally bursting out with all levels of design. With its Gold Leaf finish, and multi levels of extended shining rods, this pieced adds any extra ‘POP’ needed in any decor. I can’t wait to see it in person, as I’ve always loved this kind of starburst chandelier.

This 32 inch, 12-light pendant below is also part of their new release items. From the Calista Collection, this is a great piece for a modern chic look. The piece is done in a polished chrome finish, with clear crystal sphere details on the top and bottom to add a little something more, and bring out the shine in the crystal bobeches under each light.
