This week was our first full week back from the Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market. It’s been great to catch up on sleep, see my family and friends, and get settled into a summer routine. (Yesterday I went to the iconic Barton Springs Pool with dear friend and jewelry designer Cynthia Bloom, who just happened to be showing in Atlanta as well). I’ve also had time to look back and reflect on the trip as a whole. This was only our 2nd time showing in High Design and, although very hard work as anyone who does shows knows, it always proves to be a very valuable learning experience. Everyone is extremely helpful and enthusiastic and the feedback you get from other exhibitors, AmericasMart staff, and seasoned buyers is so valuable.

It was amazing to showcase the Deborah Main Designs‘ line, particularly our new Les Petite Bijoux! These delightful little jewels are ornaments featuring a rhinestone vintage button and are the most adorable miniature versions of my work. I could not be more excited over the launch of our Les Bijoux family (from Luxe to Petits), as this is a whole new product category that buyers really can engage in to offer an array of sizes, colors, styles and price points to their clientele.

A few of our new Les Petits Bijoux collectible ornaments. Each of our Deborah Main pillows come with its own custom signature black box, no matter the size!

We really enjoyed everyone who stopped by our booth to take a peek. In fact, our Twitter pal, Laura Van Zeyl, Publisher/Editorial Director of Home Fashion Forecast, came by our booth during our champagne and chocolate social and later sent out this Tweet about our new product. Thank you to everyone who took the time to view our collections…it was so great to see all of you!!

Honestly, aside from sharing my work and meeting new people, which is so exciting for me because I get to meet buyers and interior designers from all over the world, I think my favorite part of the Atlanta trip was our fun social hour.  We offered champagne and Delysia chocolate (with a monogrammed “D”) to everyone who walked by our booth. It was so much fun!! There is no better way to strike up a friendly conversation than to give a visitor a sweet. I just cannot believe how many people ended up staying at the booth and sharing their stories with me!

Delysia makes divine chocolate and we’re so happy to be partnering with them. Guests loved our monogram chocolates and napkins.  I could not even count how many people were in rapture over Delysia truffles…in fact, several people stated “These are the best chocolates I’ve ever had!”.

The end of this Atlanta Market marks the beginning of some really exciting changes for Deborah Main Designs.  Our team is working hard on new features that I cannot wait to make public! Add this to our preparations for another photo shoot, and we have some very busy days ahead! I will keep everyone in the loop when we make new changes available, but until then, please check out these photos from my wonderful Atlanta experience. Also enjoy our impromptu Atlanta video!  Thanks again to all who made this possible!! Until next time, hope everyone’s having a fabulous summer. XO PG

Our booth turned out so beautifully. Thank you to everyone who helped make it fantastic!

A very special thank you to our amazing Deborah Main Designs team: Kristen & Sarah of POM PR, Dee Covey of Driven PR, intern Kaitlin Wood, seamstresses Linda Leening and Heather Bache, and our new Director of Sales & Marketing, Elizabeth Traub. And a special thank you to Eugene Henry, and all at AmericasMart, who made everything in Atlanta so much easier!!
